Yo, I'm Jessie, the founder of Unbox.

My journey started with some unexpected encounters. At 20, I was building an education community and happened to meet an artist who offered me an upper 6-fig investment, while the younger me dropped it for research.

At 21, I learnt from a mysterious operator who liked my guitar performance, and later built a scout program for an early-stage VC, sourcing 80+ founders in a quarter. Sequoia China (HSG) offered me an investment operations role at 22, which I felt greatly appreciated.

Before dropping out from the better-to-be-anonymized PhD program, I did some research in linguistics and auditory cognitive neuroscience (i.e. music cognition + brain imaging).

I'm happy to embrace the next craziest moments in my life. Perhaps it's about you :)
